Tea Trunk is one of India’s first brands of gourmet teas founded and run by a Tea Sommelier.
The website is an attempt to take forward the playfulness of the brand identity but also to make
sure that the design meets key objectives such as high-degree of differentiation from other tea
brands, beautiful shopping experience etc...
Tea Trunk as a brand was positioned as a gourmet tea accessible and approachable. Another
challenge was to build a global brand that would work across geographies. The design is
flexible, memorable, clean, bold, minimal and most of all playful.
The website uses Shopify as a base for the ecommerce components and is designed using
components from the visual language built over the years for the brand – clean, bold, minimal
and most of all playful.
